Where was everyone on New Year's Day? Yeah, I get it, you partied hard on New Year's Eve...but you skipped Let's Do Trivia?!?!?! What a shame! The same amount of fun was waiting for you as any other night! And, yes, it's a great hangover cure! Anyways, here's the lowdown on what YOU missed:

The excitement was palpable at Poseidon's Pub this past Wednesday night for Let's Do Trivia! The evening started strong with Anger Management taking an early lead in the first half, scoring an impressive 31 points, followed closely by Silver Dollar with 26.

At halftime, the competition heated up as Anger Management extended their lead with a halftime score of 39, while Silver Dollar stayed in the game with 32 points.

The second half saw Anger Management maintain their momentum, racking up a total of 70 points. However, Silver Dollar surged ahead with a strategic play in the final round, closing the gap and pulling off an impressive win.

In the final standings, Silver Dollar edged out Anger Management with a final score of 71, earning them the top prize of $250. Anger Management finished just one point behind at 70, taking home a well-deserved $100.

Draw a RULER with however many inches of snow your area got this week, for 3 bonus points during Round 2, Question 1!

Another night of Let's Do Trivia each week has been added, and both are now a HIT at Ocean Downs! Last week, a massive tie for first formed among half of our 13 teams, but it slowly dissolved into a major tie: Change Up, Here For The Slots, Picklers, Retired Beach Bums, and That's What She Said ALL tied for 2nd after halftime, while Dopey McGillis held the lone 1st place spot! The 2nd half was a roller coaster of lead changes and ties, and when the dust settled, Change Up had claimed first place, while Dopey McGillis was still near the top in 2nd!  After the final, the results remained the same, but we had a 3rd place tie to break! BlancoCinco and That's What She Said descended into a tiebreaker--with That's What She Said emerging the 3rd place winner, receivers of a $75 prize! Ocean Downs! - Let's Do Trivia! - 7/29/25!

The Playbook is the right play on Tuesday nights in Berlin/Ocean City! You can bet on Let's Do Trivia being the most fun you'll ever have! We started the game with Retired Beach Bums and No Drama Llamas tied for the lead; Retired Beach Bums took the lead for themselves in the next round, but Dopey GIllis jumped into 1st right before halftime! In the 2nd half, Retired Beach Bums made a run for first, and secured a top-of-the-list tie with Dopey Gillis going into the final! No Drama Llamas was in 2nd, with only 1 less point! And then it happened. The magic of the final question. Three Brains and a Wayne came back from SIXTH and won the whole thing! Congrats on a $250 prize! KWAC came back from SEVENTH and won the $100 2nd place prize! It's Bill's Birthday (happy birthday Bill!) moved from 4th to 3rd and won a $75 prize! What a wild ride!
